Our Story
From the Ground Up
A small Erie nursery rooted in resilience — and an ever-overflowing garden.
On Christmas Eve 2010, our family lost our home to a fire. Starting over from nothing — bare dirt, grass, and the occasional piece of debris — Jon turned rebuilding the yard into something more. He taught himself to garden, then to build. The centerpiece was a large pond with a custom rock waterfall, dreamed up and constructed entirely by his own hands.
Over the next decade, that yard transformed. Plants filled every corner, split and replanted season after season. What had been an act of necessity became a genuine passion.
Eventually, the garden was simply overflowing. Jon started sharing the surplus — a couple of tables at the end of the driveway. Word spread. What started as two tables of perennials has grown into thousands of plants and a full seasonal nursery, still rooted in the same love of growing things that started it all.

Two Specialties, One Garden
Pond & Aquatic Plants
Jon's specialty, born from building his own pond. Koi-friendly varieties, native aquatics, water lilies, and marginals — carefully selected for life in and around the water.
Garden Perennials
The origin of the whole business. Hardy varieties suited to Erie's climate, carefully grown and selected each season — plants that come back year after year and fill a yard with color.
